On Saturday in a telephone talk between the presidents of Russia and USA Dmitry Medvedev explained to George to Bush tasks which are decided by Russia in South Ossetia, RIA of New reports. According to him, it is the immediate stopping of violence and defense of peaceful population among which majority is the Russian citizens.
In addition, Medvedev expounded the estimation of situation in an unrecognized republic. He declared that Georgia had accomplished an aggressive action against peaceful habitants and Russian peacemakers, and underlined that by a result " barbarian action" numerous human victims, ten of thousands of refugees and mass destructions, became, reports "Interfaks".
Before Bush declared on Saturday, that it follows Russia to halt bombardment in the area of conflict in South Ossetia, and that both sides must immediately resort to international mediation. It is reported that shortly before this statement Bush conversed by phone with the president of Georgia by Michael Saakashvili, which acquainted him with the vision of situation in South Ossetia.
